Ban the culling of these magnificent birds, (Ringneck parakeet) who now call Britain their home.

They may well be an addition to the crop destroying problem, but clearly cannot be singled out as the only pest in Britain. Crows, rabbits, sparrows and many other animal species regularly destroy crops. It is unfair to solely blame these beautiful birds.

Many people all over London enjoy seeing these birds, having them land in their garden, and even enjoy hand feeding them, due to the birds social nature. Many residents have exclaimed "They are beautiful to see flying around, and a joy to have about in the garden"

Please do not allow the cull of these beautiful creatures!
