Thank you for signing it means a lot. We have probably all seen the sadness around us and become angry that these young people - so vulnerable.. then go on to be treated this way. 

After the Royal Commission, I could hardly believe it that we keep doing this.. eg strip searches for a victim of abuse must be horrific and frankly, retraumatising. 

I don't subscibe to 'do the crime, get the time' as time is precious to every single one of us alive, not to mention it must be used for healing and helping.. which does not happen in prison.
