Redford was adopted from a Rescue Organization based out of Salisbury, NC. On or about November 12, 2016 Redford went missing. His family searched for him and made a plea on Facebook to be on the lookout. With a huge outpouring of support Redford was located within 24 hours. He was picked up and taken to local veterinary hospital by a good samaritan who then scanned him for a micro chip. The chip was registered to "The Halfway House" in Salisbury NC. The call was placed and Redford was picked up by the Organization. The problem is now The Halfway House is refusing to give Redford Back to his loving family. They cite the reason for not returning is Redford was not on a leash. This family lives in the county and The leash Law is not in effect. Redford is otherwise happy and healthy and his family just wants him to come home. They have made many pleas on Facebook to no avail. This dog is very well loved and taken care of. His favorite activities include going to the park with his skin-brother and chasing sticks and balls in their very large back yard. Please help to bring Redford home. He is so very missed. This family's hearts are breaking.
