Countless streams, rivers, and ponds have been polluted by citizens litter, harmful chemicals from the copper mines, & air pollution. This affects the livelihoods of people because:

•many Zambians do not have access to clean water for drinking or bathing

•intoxicated waters no longer contain viable fish to be fished or sold 

•polluted waters spread diseases such as cholera which result in many lives lost 

We need the Zambian government to act and we need it to act NOW. We need our waters cleaned and we need them to be maintained that way.
