YA official response

I find this response disappointing. If the YA is really interested in serving our community, they need to do better. 1. Educational Standards for Ethics, abuse prevention, & cult awareness must be specific & defined clearly. 2. The YA Code of Conduct must be updated to include plain language & clear definitions for proper ethical behavior which registrants will be held accountable to uphold. 3. The YA must draft a compliance policy & a procedure for filing a grievance against a registered school or teacher. In addition to boycotting the YA until these changes are made, we can all focus on making positive changes in our local yoga communities. 1. Talk about abuse & how to prevent it in our community 2.
