So here’s what started this: I’ve played in enough cover bands to know just how much drive and talent it must take to make it to the top. Drive and talent frequently lead to narcissistic tendencies. I’ve also met a few stars who were .001% deserving of their success and had zero ability to handle it.
Dave Grohl is flipping talented and flips barbecue for firefighters. He gives to charity and he gives of himself. He was in one of the greatest bands of all time and then started another amazing band. Pop music has had way too many R. Kellys, Michael Jacksons and Phil Spectors. Time to flip the script.
