I propose that ex Newcastle, Scotland and British and Irish Lions rugby player, MND sufferer Mr Doddie Weir be awarded a Knighthood by her Majesty the Queen in recognition of his incredible charity fund-raising work in respect of his Motor Neuron Disease Charity.
