WE DID IT!!! Style Me Pretty is SAVED!!!!!!!

"We are unbelievably thrilled to share with you guys the news that the original founders - myself, @abbydlarson, and my husband, @taitlarson - have acquired Style Me Pretty's assets so that the brand can live on and thrive and become even better than ever. To say that we will be in your debt as readers and vendors and tastemakers, is perhaps the biggest understatement I have ever made. For those of you who have stood beside us and helped the world understand that Style Me Pretty's purpose and function go far beyond pretty pictures - we are deeply, deeply grateful. Tait and I are SO excited to reboot this incredible company and build on the work that the team at SMP has already created - a space that showcases the most beautiful content in the world, alongside the most talented vendors who work so hard to make it happen.
After more than 10 years in the wedding industry and just enough time away from SMP, we have a lot of ideas on what this brand should stand for and enough wisdom to not simply trust our intuition. In the short term, we will be self-funding the site, running super lean and we’ll be making as much time to interview brides and industry professionals as possible so that we continue to build a place that vendors want to stand beside and readers want to devour. It’s going to be a crazy ride and one that we’re going to try to share as publicly as possible.
Lastly, while we are the ones that get to indulge in this incredible moment with you, it is the staff behind SMP - who sat down at their desks each and every day, so excited and happy to be a part of a community that inspires in such an enormous way - who are the real superheroes behind this brand. And I believe that any joy felt here should be gifted to this incredible team and not to Tait nor myself. It is bittersweet that we won't be able to take them along right now as the work that they have done for this company is simply immeasurable.
Style Me Pretty faces more challenges and yet more opportunities than it ever has before. We know that, we feel that ... and we are SO very excited for the ride.

Guess who’s back. Back again. Woot woot! You guys!!!! @stylemepretty isn’t going anywhere and if I start to really dive deep into my thank you’s I will never be able to compose myself (looking at you @kayenglishphotography). I’m so proud and humbled and grateful to stand beside such amazing people and from the bottom of my heart...thank you. A million times over.
