Every year the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are looking for a new host for the Academy Awards (Oscars). Every year there is some backlash from people who don’t like who the Academy chooses and with the recent stepping down of Kevin Hart I propose that the Academy and The Muppet Studios/Walt Disney Studios work together to have the Muppets host the upcoming Oscars. 

The Muppets have been around for many years. They’ve had their own show starting in the 70’s, appeared on talk shows, movies, and they’ve brought humor and fun for all ages which is what the Academy needs. 

Who wouldn’t want to see Kermit hosting the Oscars with his friends, Gonzo conducting the orchestra, and Statler and Waldorf heckling the celebrities from their balcony? This is asking for much more than just a host, that would require more people to be involved, but why can’t the award show be a little more fun. 

Those that agree and would like to see something different then sign and share. There’s no guarantee that those in charge will see this, but we can try.
