The Last Jedi completely derails the direction that J.J. Abrams set in The Force Awakens. Rian Johnson squandered so much potential. There is no coming back from this; the changes Johnson made are permanent, as awful as they are. Was it too much to ask for Luke to kick some ass with his green lightsaber? Was it too much to ask for a single lightsaber duel?
