Thanks to your efforts, we've reached 40,000 signatures on this petition in just three weeks! Disney and the media are taking notice. 

The rapidly growing support for our petition is encouraging more people in The Bahamas to speak out. The media there has covered our call to Disney to find another more suitable site for its port and to work instead with local groups on an alternative that would really benefit the communities of South Eleuthera, save Lighthouse Point, and the surrounding seas.  

This really can be a win-win for nature and the oceans, for The Bahamas and Eleuthera, and for Disney. 

Yet we need to do a lot more to persuade Disney's top leaders to change its plans for Lighthouse Point. We are off to an amazing start, but we need to grow our base of supporters so that Disney knows that it can no longer ignore our offer.
