Dear Disney and those who are writers and producers of the amazing franchise Pirates of the Caribbean;

In news regarding the franchise Pirates of the Caribbean, there have been rumors circulating that the character Jack Sparrow will not be in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Other news, is that there is news circulating about a Pirates of the Caribbean reboot. These recent rumors and news have upset and angered fans, especially the recent rumors about no Johnny Depp. We hope that these rumors are not true and if they are, please hear your audience out and keep Johnny in. Your audience loves Pirates of the Caribbean, especially because of Jack. Please do not take Jack from the franchise or make a Pirates reboot. Please have Jack in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and any future Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Jack Sparrow is the heart of the franchise and all of us tune in to see what he is doing. Jack is what made the franchise so successful. There is no Pirates of the Caribbean without Jack, and especially without Johnny playing the part. Johnny has to play Jack and POTC has to have Jack in it! Johnny made the character Jack Sparrow and turned him into the iconic character that everyone loves. When people think of Pirates, they think of Jack and when you think of Johnny, you automatically think of the character Jack. The Jack that we currently have on the screen, wouldn't be made possible without Johnny. Please do not copy the character and do not replace Jack. There will never be another character like him and it can not be copied. A character like Jack and an actor such as Johnny are irreplaceable.

As fans, we have also been hearing about a franchise reboot, please do not make one, but instead give us what you gave us in POTC 1. We love all the films, but please bring back the Jack and the crew we know from POTC 1! If you want to do anything with the franchise, please just continue with our current POTC and bring back the original writers and Gore Verbinsk! The writers and Jack, killed it in the first three Pirates. While POTC 4 and 5, were good, it wasn't nearly as good as POTC 1, 2, AND 3. Please listen to your fans!

I know many fans are upset and angry about the reboot, and especially upset about taking our beloved Pirate Jack out of the mix. I know that I will not be watching the reboot, and especially will not be watching the next Pirates without Jack Sparrow. I will not watching any future Pirates without Jack. We aren't going to watch without Jack and will not watch the reboot either. The character Jack especially has come synonymous and iconic with POTC. Johnny and the character Jack, have been apart of the franchise since Pirates 1, in 2003. A lot of us even grew up with the franchise, especially with the character Jack. I was 8 years old when Pirates 1 came out and now I am 23.  I fell in love with the franchise, especially because of Johnny. Even with Johnny as a supporting character, he has still become the heart of the franchise and the center of attention, and who we follow through the movies. The character Johnny has portrayed, has helped so many people and brings joy to so many. The character that Johnny plays, has helped sick children in hospitals. Imagine taking such a wonderful character away from an audience that loves him? SO PLEASE DO NOT TAKE JOHNNY AWAY! Please no reboot. I also feel as it would be such  slap in the face to the fans and Johnny to take him away. HE is the heart of the franchise. He is what we all look forward to seeing. He made Jack. How could you take him away, when he made you all successful and the movies successful? 

As for a reboot, please do not make a reboot of Pirates of the Caribbean. Pirates of the Caribbean 5 only just came out in 2017.  There is no need to reboot such an amazing franchise. People have fallen in love with the franchise the way it is. There is a reason people fell in love with POTC. Pirates of the Caribbean made Pirates popular and made pirates cool. Before Pirates, there weren't very many Pirates movies and if there were, they weren't very successful. Pirates of the Caribbean put Pirates back on the map. Nobody cared about Pirates before POTC. When people think of pirates, people always associate Pirates with Pirates of the Caribbean. A reboot would be a slap in the face to the franchise, a series like that can not be duplicated, copied, or replaced, especially with the cast that Pirates have and especially with characters like Will, Elizabeth, Barbossa, and, especially Jack. These characters work so well together, tell such an amazing story, especially with Jack by their side. The relationship between characters and the amount put into this franchise is amazing. Taking any character out of the mix would ruin the balance and entertainment of the franchise. Totally taking the current franchise and making it your own, without any of the the characters people know and fell in love with, would ruin it. It especially wouldn't be the same without Jack or any of the characters if you were to copy them, replace them, or get rid of all the current characters. Please don't copy Pirates, please do not replace any of the characters, or get rid of them, do not even get rid of anybody or the actors and actresses. PLESE DO NOT GET RID OF JACK. The original Pirates 1, is what made Pirates. Nobody has a problem with making a Pirates movie unrelated to Pirates franchise, but to reboot a series, is wrong. The characters in POTC aren't replaceable. Please do not get rid of Jack or any of the characters or copy them for a reboot. We don't want a rip off of Pirates. We just want the next Pirates (Pirates of the Caribbean 6) with Jack, the crew, and his usual gang. WE ESPECIALLY WANT JACK IN THE MOVIES AND FOR HIM TO STAY IN ALL FUTURE PIRATES! JACK FOR POTC 6.

Pirates of the Caribbean is Jack and the franchise is one of a kind. Please keep it the way it is and leave Jack with the franchise.
