In an attempt to trick voters in Faringdon, former Town Councillor Bethia Thomas intends to SUPPORT the Wicklesham Quarry development if she is elected.
That is why, for the past month she has REFUSED to clarify her position on the Wicklesham Quarry application, when asked to do so. If she did, she knows people in Faringdon would not elect her.
Yesterday, a new set of application documents appeared on Oxfordshire County Council’s website and a consultation letter was sent to Wicklesham residents.
And a week ago, Councillor Thomas LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG by telling a local Parish Council Chairman that SHE KNEW the applicants were about to submit a NEW application.
HOW DID SHE KNOW? Because this last minute stunt was planned to coincide with the County Council election, SO THAT THE APPLICANTS CAN CLAIM THEY HAVE ACROSS THE BOARD LOCAL SUPPORT, when the application goes to the Planning Committee on 16th June.
Like all her former colleagues on Faringdon Town Council, Ms Thomas continues to support the developers of Wicklesham Quarry, AND IF SHE IS ELECTED, SHE WILL GIVE IT HER BACKING.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. A VOTE FOR BETHIA THOMAS MEANS A VOTE FOR A MASSIVE INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT ON TOP OF WICKLESHAM QUARRY SSSI, Faringdon’s most important environmental site.
Only ONE CANDIDATE in Faringdon has been OPEN AND CONSISTENT in her objections to this development – KATHERINE FOXHALL.
Give Katherine Foxhall your support today and REJECT THE DEVIOUS ATTEMPT TO TRICK FARINGDON’S VOTERS.
