I contacted Planning Officer Kevin Broughton today to let him know that supporters have emailed me expressing concern about Oxfordshire County Council's planning portal. Supporters' submissions on Grundon's application were not acknowledged, and the site appeared to be malfunctioning.
Today Mr Broughton has admitted that none of the objections or letters were registered, including my own.
In view of this (additional) fiasco, could I ask supporters to email your letters or comments again- this time directly to: Kevin.Broughton@Oxfordshire.gov.uk, and copy to any or all of the following:
yvonne.rees@oxfordshire.gov.uk,
nick.graham@oxfordshire.gov.uk
Susan.Halliwell@Oxfordshire.gov.uk,
and: protectwicklesham@gmail.com
I am very sorry for the inconvenience of asking you to do this again- but I know that many supporters, both local and national, want their voices to be heard on this matter!
I have said to Mr Broughton that, in the circumstances, the public consultation must be run again for a further month, once the website has been fixed and double-checked, since there is no way of knowing what comments, and how many, were submitted by members of the public.
Words fail me....!
Thank you to everyone for keeping in touch with the campaign at protectwicklesham@gmail.com. You can either copy your comments to me - or let me know if you've made a submission, then I will try to keep track of things.
