Attn: Kelly Kelleher, MD Director, Center for Innovation in Pediatric Practice
Dear Dr Kelleher,
Your comment in reference to the Torio’s study outlined in the MedPage article above struck a chord with me…..
Kelly Kelleher, MD, a pediatrician and researcher at Nationwide Children's Hospital, wrote a commentary in response to Torio's study, also published in Academic Pediatrics.
"We are sweeping this problem under the rug, because if this ever happened in cancer or heart disease or even infectious disease, the country would stop. People would demand action immediately," Kelleher said.
__________
We have an “infectious disease” epidemic sweeping across America with an estimate of over 300,000 new cases annually. 300,000 new infections outnumber the AIDS epidemic.

Currently there is no test to rule out persistent infection responsible for countless disabilities reported across the U.S. and the globe. We hear many reports of suicide as a result of this “infectious disease” being “swept under the rug.” Case in point: With 300,000 new cases per year, where are the Public Service Announcements?
The following petition was created on behalf of the families devastated by Lyme disease who have witnessed first hand a community of physicians influenced by the CDC’s ongoing disinformation campaign aimed at promoting the idea that Lyme is little more than a nuisance disease. This petition provides evidence to suggest that Lyme disease has been intentionally mishandled. All fifty states are represented as is 21 other countries.

From personal experiences with Lyme disease and the knowledge gained over the past five years as presented on the petition site we have been dealing with an antibiotic resistant superbug purposely concealed to promote vaccine development. A chronic relapsing disease does not fit the vaccine model.
Post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome is simply a fabricated medical condition disguising treatment failure.
This petition is demanding action and has produced over 412 pages of heart wrenching stories from disabled/suicidal patients (Children and adults) across the globe. (14MB PDF file available upon request)
The CDC’s five band IgG criteria for positive Western blot is responsible for countless misdiagnoses sending one sixteen year old to a psychiatric hospital for seven weeks as reported in the complaint filed with the Massachusetts Medical Board. The physician responsible for the misdiagnosis is considered an “expert” in Lyme disease.

Our children are most susceptible to the physical, emotional, and neurological effects of this devastating disease. How many of you will turn a blind eye to these words of utter despair?
Respectfully submitted,
Carl Tuttle
