Dr Robinson,
I want to be crystal clear; suppressing evidence of antibiotic resistance is not “solid bibliographic foundation.” Simply put, it is collusion.
That collusion controlling the narrative has been propagated as “medical advice advocated in the UK, US and many other countries.”
Quote from a treating physician on the front lines:
“In the fullness of time, the mainstream handling of Chronic Lyme Disease will be viewed as one of the most shameful episodes in the history of medicine because elements of academic medicine, elements of government, and the entire insurance industry colluded to deny a disease.” -Kenneth B. Liegner, MD, Internal Medicine, New York

The patient you see in that hospital bed is Vicki Logan who died after the insurer refused additional IV antibiotic treatment because the IDSA guideline says 2-4 weeks Previously sent: Logan’s CDC positive culture report and Chronic Lyme Autopsy results Page #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)

Dear Mr. Tuttle,
Thank you for your email to CABI highlighting potential concerns with the Lyme Disease (3rd edition) publication. We would like to assure you that we take the complaints raised about the work we have published seriously and that we have now looked into this matter.
In doing so we have recognised that alternative positions can be taken in scientific debate and that our responsibility as a publisher is to ensure that proper editorial procedures and oversight are followed in the consideration of evidence and the production of any texts. We have conducted a full investigation into the editorial processes and the content in this case, and we are satisfied that the text and references represent the different perspectives in this important topic. We also respect the editor’s and authors’ right to express their views, supported by a solid bibliographic foundation.
We appreciate the importance of different opinions and certainly encourage healthy scientific discourse. However, we also find that the content of the book is consistent with medical advice advocated in the UK, US and many other countries.
As a result, we now consider this matter closed.
Once again, CABI would like to thank you for the interest you have taken in our published work and we will continue to seek the highest standards of publication. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
Yours sincerely,
Andy
