I am currently working with a legislative assistant from Congresswoman Ann Kuster’s office who has contacted the office of Admiral Brett Giroir regarding all of the emails I have sent to the Assistant Secretary for Health. I was told that Dr. Giroir is in receipt of these emails and his team is in the process of responding. I will share the response on this petition.

Dr. Giroir,

You have not responded to my emails dated Dec. 4, 6, 9, and 11 regarding the mishandling of Lyme disease by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. Your lack of response is highly suspicious and suggests that the racketeering scheme to downplay the severity of Lyme disease while suppressing evidence of persistent infection is well supported right up the chain of command of Health and Human Services.

Public outcry over the crippling effects of Lyme has been ignored for three decades Dr. Giroir while the CDC sat on laboratory evidence (1991 Culture) that current antimicrobials were not effective in eradicating the Lyme disease spirochete in all stages of disease. We have lost nearly four decades to this racketeering scheme when we should have been looking for a new treatment approach while uncovering how Borrelia disables its victim.

You expect the CDC to resolve this runaway plague while we talk about it through the Tick Borne Disease Working Group for the next six years? Is this stalling tactic a means for Valneva to roll out the next LYMErix OspA vaccine?
