Please see the following additional correspondence sent to the Editors of the Journal of the American Medical Association regarding new ICD11 Codes for Lyme disease. Congenital transmission of Lyme disease has been known for decades but the racketeering scheme to downplay the severity of Lyme has kept this well hidden from the public and medical community. The World Health Organization (WHO) hasn’t been fooled.

This correspondence has been forwarded to the Tick Borne Disease Working Group.

Dear Dr. Fontanarosa,

In reference to the consequences of untreated infection, the World Health Organization (WHO) updated their ICD11 Codes for Lyme disease per the following Press Release:

PRESS RELEASE: Ground Breaking Recognition of Lyme Borreliosis in 11th International Classification of Diseases

Published on August 1, 2018

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/press-release-ground-breaking-recognition-lyme-11th-luche-thayer/

I would like to highlight the following three new codes: (There are more)

ICIG.2            Congenital Lyme borreliosis

6D85.Y           Dementia due to Lyme disease

8A45.0Y         Central nervous system demyelination due to Lyme borreliosis

On August 3rd I sent you a 1033 page PDF file with comments from disabled Lyme patients all across America. A search of that PDF file for the term “congenital” will uncover many, many stories of how congenital transmission was not only missed but destroyed countless lives.

Congenital Lyme borreliosis has been known for decades per the attached list of references yet no one is looking and therefor no one is treating. Why is this hidden from the public and medical community?

Was it Wormser and Shapiro who alerted the World Health Organization for the need to recognize congenital transmission of Lyme disease? Of course not! They are too busy downplaying the severity of a disease that is ruining lives, ending careers while leaving patients in financial ruin all described in great detail in the PDF comment file shared with you on August 3rd.

Wormser and Shapiro have found a safe haven for promoting their propaganda in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Again, I respectfully request that you consider retracting this Wormser/Shapiro viewpoint which misleads the reader. I also ask that you do not publish additional propaganda from these two individuals and the other five defendants named in the SHRADER & ASSOCIATES, LLP racketeering lawsuit:

DR. RAYMOND J. DATTWYLER

DR. JOHN J. HALPERIN

DR. ROBERT B. NADELMAN

DR. LEONARD SIGAL

DR. ALLEN STEERE

A copy of this request has been sent to Attorney Daniel Dutko of Hanszen Laporte and U. S. Representatives Chris Smith and Colin Peterson.

Sincerely,

Carl Tuttle
