Please see below the reaction to my inquiry requesting Dr. Ben Beard explain to the Working Group why the CDC has ignored evidence of persistent Lyme infection for the past twenty six years.
Anyone wishing to contact the Lyme Disease Working Group can send an email to:

Dr. Wolitski made the following announcement to the entire Working Group:

To be clear, Mr. Tuttle is not affiliated with the Tick-Borne Disease Working Group that HHS has established. He is welcome to ask for information as a citizen and provide public comment to the Working Group. He is not authorized to solicit information on behalf of the Working Group and does not have any special knowledge of what information is needed by the Working Group.
He has been asked to send all correspondence about the Working Group to the Tick-Borne Disease Working Group mailbox and not to individual members of the committee or to individual staff members because it has the potential to create inefficiency and confusion about entry of the correspondence into the log that Working Group maintains, the status of responses, etc.
Individual members of the Working Group may not respond on behalf of the Working Group. They may of course, respond if they choose, as private citizens. They are not obligated to respond, however.
The first meeting of the Working Group will be held on December 11, 2017. It is open to the public and all are invited to attend either in person or to view the meeting online via the live web cast.
Information about the Working Group can be found at:

All emails received at eh tick-borne disease mailbox are logged and assigned to a staff member who is fully equipped to answer your question, seek out accurate answers, or direct the mail to another member of the team who would be better able to respond to you. It increases the amount of time it takes to respond to anyone inquiry, meaning that responses to other stakeholders cannot be answered as quickly.”
Dr. Wolitski,
Per your prior email, inquiries to the Working Group are to be answered by a staff member so I fully expect a response to my question presented to Dr. Beard regarding the CDC’s suppression of evidence of persistent Lyme disease.
I want to make this perfectly clear; the Tick-borne Disease Working Group was established because of the mess we are in over the mishandling of this infection as identified in the racketeering lawsuit. This process will not become just another pacifier to the hundreds of thousands of chronically sick Lyme patients as we need an entirely different direction not controlled by the CDC or the lead author of the defunct IDSA Lyme treatment guideline.
The Working Group process is under a microscope and the selection of Dr. Gary Wormser who has controlled the narrative for the past three decades is highly, highly suspicious.
I wrote these emails with references collected over the past eight years and did not want the gatekeeper of the Working Group comments/inquiries to screen these important facts/references from the group.
CAPT Richard Henry was kind enough to respond to my inquiry regarding Lyme in the blood supply and sent the attached document. I have not had a chance to review the document to see if testing the current inventory using DNA Sequencing is recommended.
