The #PwME4ICC Demand US Health Agencies Recognize Myalgic Encephalomyelitis as Defined by ICC petition started by Gabby Klein has been transferred to Colleen Steckel.

Gabby and I have been collaborating on advocacy for myalgic encephalomyelitis for many years.  I am grateful for all that Gabby has done and appreciate her trust in me to take over the management of this petition.

While this #PwME4ICC petition was started in 2018, little has changed in the requirement for better recognition of myalgic encephalomyelitis.  The need for researchers to use the best criteria to speed up answers for patients is ongoing.

As there have been changes to administration and officials listed as the targets since the petition was started, it is my hope to bring this petition to the attention of the current administration.  I hope to renew efforts to bring the voice of the patients to the US Health Agencies in order to recognize Myalgic Encephalomyelitis as defined by the International Consensus Criteria (ICC).
