Thank you for all your support at the staff and student protest, organised by the UCU union, yesterday evening at Sunderland University, Sir Tom Cowie Campus before the BBC R4 Any Questions program.  We almost got our question asked but certain health scares and free ports were given precedence and the allotted time faded away.  We will not give up, however.  Please support the UCU nationally in their fight and ours locally to reinstate Politics, History, Modern Languages and Public Health at the University of Sunderland
