Graves's name has been officially dropped! Thank you to everyone who was willing to speak up on this issue-- Now, the real work begins. We deserve true and significant action that acknowledges the structural changes that are necessary in order to make our campus a safer place for everyone. We will continue to petition the University to make UA a safer place for all of us. It is essential that we continually acknowledge our harmful past in order to work towards a legacy we can all be proud of.   

Please continue to pay attention, minority lives depend on it. For now, though, we will be celebrating this moment in history and excitedly attending classes in Autherine Lucy Hall!
