Ok. This time I'm removing all the cursing. lol. I've had a full night's sleep. But I'm no less angry. A few things: We need the full names of all three officers who arrested Ms. Bland. (They're NOT above public scrutiny...and as public officers, full transparency is a requirement!) Especially the fully grown adult male who jumped on her back with BOTH of his knees. They threw this lady to the GROUND. Jumped on her back with BOTH KNEES. BENT her arms backwards so sharply she couldn't feel them. (according to her own words...her own screams.) Smashed her head into the ground until she couldn't hear! (again, this is according to her own words on video). and they mocked her while doing this! in broad daylight. Then tried to intimidate the pedestrian bystander who was videotaping this horrid, sordid abuse. Again for the record, The Supreme Court let stand the 7th Court of Appeals verdict that american citizens have the RIGHT to film/videotape police while making arrest - both on public property and in many private properties (such as shopping malls, etc). Furthermore - the ruling made it ILLEGAL for police to try and INTIMIDATE the persons making the video or confiscate the filming equipment. On camera - these officers tried to BOTH stop the video and intimidate the person taking the video. This is illegal. No one is above the law. The testimony of this video taker is going to be paramount! Because while he only was able to partially videotape the arrest...he personally WITNESSED the entire debacle! He can directly repudiate the lie that Ms. Bland "kicked" the police officer or as they said - assaulted a 'public servant.' and CLEARLY - these three men HAD NO IDEA what it means to be a public servant! They in fact were in the very act of terrorizing the public. This poor woman driving home alone - was never expecting to encounter this kind of TERROR! Why was she asked to exit her vehicle in the FIRST PLACE? She didn't (allegedly) put on her turn light when changing lanes!?! Nonsense. Unjustified...unjustifiable...nonsense. We need 100,000 supporters of this petition because then, as you know, The White House HAS to respond. Please tell your friends and co-workers to sign! We need NATIONAL ATTENTION to this outrage. This woman deserves that! We as american citizens who won't countenance this disgrace...deserve that.
