Those identifying as LGBTQIA+, living in the United States, are subject to continued harassment, intimidation, physical violence, verbal abuse, and restrictions of personal rights and freedoms...  The United States is failing to protect its LGBTQIA+ citizens. Through its inaction and direct action, the federal and state governments have created a hostile and fearful environment for its LGBTQIA+ citizens.  We appeal to the United Nations Human Rights Council to investigate these conditions and crimes against humanity.
