Most people love the Star Wars films, and with the recent release of the first part of an exciting new trilogy, Star Wars has a very large chance to force its way to the forefront of modern pop culture once again. With the new, younger generation, new ways to reach out to the fanbase is to create emojis of things they are interested in. A example of success is the advent of the recycling emoji, which reflects the current state of mind in the younger generation. 

I know many people that would love to have a lightsaber emoji available to use. It should include the different colours, shapes and sizes, as all lightsabers are loved.
