When last calculated in 2008, the European Union cost our country £65 billion. That's around £1000 each year for every man, woman and child in the UK. What is even more disgraceful is that we have little or no say in the laws that this body can dictate to our country and we can't even vote for the EU president. The EU wastes billions of pounds of tax payers money each year and it's time it stopped. It's time for the people of the UK to actively vote on whether or not we should continue to be members of this body.
