In honor of the 51st Jerusalem Day since Israeli Liberated the Temple Mount in 1967, just over 2,000 ascended the Temple Mount to give thanks to the Almighty for miraculous victory. This is the largest numbers of Jews to ascend the Temple Mount on a single day since 1967. Several Jews were arrested for crimes such as bowing down, as was the son of Knesset Member Betzalel Smotrich (Jewish Home Faction) for raising an Israeli flag on the Temple Mount. It should be noted that when a group of non-Jewish Asian tourists held an Israeli Flag on the Mount several weeks ago no action was taken against them. MK Smotrich spoke out and praised his son during a radio interview earlier today.
