Youth Protest Closing of the Mount to Jews: Last night youth from the "Return to the Mount" organization organized a protest vigil outside the Prime Ministers Residence in Jerusalem to protest the closure of the Temple Mount to Jews for the last 9 days of Ramadan. The protesters called on the Prime Minister to resign for caving into Muslim threats. Large Ascent to Temple Mount Next Thursday: Meanwhile, the United Temple Mount Organization is planning to bring large numbers of Jews next Thursday to mark the re-opening of the Mount to Jews after Ramadan. The ascent will be in conjunction with the Ariel family, who lost their daughter Hallel Yafe who was murdered by Arab terrorists in her home one year ago. The Temple Mount was very close to the heart of Hallel and following her heinous murder, hundreds accompanied her parents to the Temple Mount in remembrance. Mass Temple Mount Ascent, Thursday 6/29/2017 - 5th of Tammuz 7am - Morning Prayer Service at bottom of Mugrabim Gate 8am - Memorial Service for IDF soldier Hadas Malkah who was killed at Shechem Gate last week. 8:30am - The crowd will ascend to the Temple Mount to mark the re-opening to Jews and to remember the murder of Hallel Yafe.
