There have been 23 horses injured and euthanized within the past 10 weeks after being run on this track, despite it being known to be unsafe. Horseracing in itself is a cruel practice masquerading as sport, where horses are used as entertainment and for gambling purposes.

The only solution to this problem is the immediate shutdown of this track and its operations!

My name is Fawn Eckman, and I oppose the practice of horseracing. Particularly that which results in the death of so many beautiful horses who are treated like commodities rather than living, feeling creatures that they are.
