We would like to inquire as to why Prince is not being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame for 2017?

You say, "you honor those whose work represents a spectrum of the most beloved songs from the world's popular music songbook." Again, I ask in dismay... why is Prince not being inducted?!

Listen to any Prince album, listen to the many bodies of work he has done for other artists. No artist has a wider array of beloved songs!

No artist has done more with their music than Prince! No artist has done more to heal the human condition. No artist has done more to enlighten us mentally and spiritually!

No artist has given more of themselves to ensure a world filled with love than Prince!

Prince is more than just a musician, in purest terms... Prince IS and will ALWAYS be MUSIC!

We implore you to induct Prince into the Songwriters Hall of Fame for 2017!
