HOW WOULD THE TRAINING OF ANC YOUTH LEAGUE MEMBERS IN GUN HANDLING, MILITARY TRAINING AND GUERRILLA TACTICS HELP TO REDUCE VIOLENT CRIME IN SOUTH AFRICA?

Violent crime in South Africa is out of control.
Willem Petzer, a well-known South African blogger, and many other online reporters like Ian Cameron of AfriForum, have brought to my attention the worsening crime situation in South Africa.
Our government is losing its fight against violent crime in South Africa.
Criminal gangs are increasing their violent crime in Cape Town townships despite the presence of the South African Defence force.
Since January 2019, 900 people have been killed in Cape Town townships as a result of continued gang violence:

Willem Petzer, like myself, is using social media to let the world know what is really happening in South Africa.
We thank God for YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and the many other social media outlets, which allow us as ordinary citizens to express our views without fear or favour.
Willem recently reported on YouTube about the worsening crime situation in South Africa. What I like about his reports is that he backs them up with video footage and online reports by credible journalists.

Given the worsening crime situation in South Africa, why would the youth organisation of the governing party, the ANC, have the need to START A PRIVATE ARMY, under the jurisdiction of the ANC Youth League, to give them military training and to teach them guerrilla tactics.
One only trains people to use guerrilla tactics if conventional warfare tactics are no longer adequate.
Is the ANC Youth League planning civil warfare?
Against whom?
For what purpose?
If the youth of South Africa really wants to make a difference, they should join the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) or become volunteers for South African Police Service (SAPS), which is severely understaffed. The ANC led government should strongly motivate the youth not to attend private military camps.
Anyone who wants to own a firearm in South Africa, can follow the legal route and apply for one, after obtaining a competency certificate.
Private military training for our youth would encourage aggressive behaviour and could lead to worsening the crime situation in South Africa.

The ANC NEC is attempting to persuade the Youth League to abandon their intentions to continue with military training camps, but they are being ignored and the military training will continue in early Spring, 2019:

The call to arm and train black radical youth is ominous.
Dr. Gregory Stanton of Genocide Watch, the international Alliance to end genocide, warns us that if a particular sector of society is arming themselves and undergoing military training, then they might be planning a potential genocide.

Let us not go down this slippery slope of genocide.
Let us do everything in our power to discourage it.
South Africa needs foreign investment to grow its annual GDP and to create more jobs for the many unemployed.
Very few foreign investors would consider investing in South Africa if the risks become too high and the news that black, radical youth are arming themselves and undergoing military training, will become a disincentive to invest in South Africa.
