IS THE ANC JUSTIFIED IN BLAMING THE DA AND AFRIFORUM FOR PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP’S TWEET ON FARM MURDERS AND THE EXPROPRIATION OF PROPERTY WITHOUT COMPENSATION?
Dear supporter of this petition
Thank you for your unwavering support to stop farm murders in South Africa.
Our online petition now stands at 186,303 supporters.
The ANC is hopping mad at the following tweet of President Donald Trump on South Africa:
“I have asked Secretary of State @SecPompeo to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. “South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers.” @TuckerCarlson @FoxNews”
President Trump is perfectly correct in asking the Secretary of State, Secretary Pompeo to closely study (i.e. investigate) the South African governments intentions to expropriate property (especially white owned farms) without compensation.
President Cyril Ramaphosa, as part of the ANC campaign to win votes from the Marxist, radical EFF, has expressed very clearly his intentions to expropriate property without compensation, especially farms owned by white farmers, in order to redistribute land to mainly black (not coloured) people who have the desire to farm.
His campaign is geared towards winning the hearts of minds of the radical black youth supporting the EFF.
Jesse Duarte’s (of the ANC) regards Trump’s tweet as outrageous.
She also blames the DA and Afriforum for peddling untruths of the land reform process and blames them for having caused a President (i.e. Trump) of a country with whom South Africa has had ‘good diplomatic relationships with, we have had good trade relationships with to make a statement that has outraged many, many of us.’
She also reiterates that the land reform process is there to ‘deal with a very complex process in our country.’
What she forgot to mention is that the ANC led government has had 24 years to deal with this ‘very complex matter’ but failed to deliver due to many years of endemic corruption throughout all government departments, including the department of Land Affairs that deals with the land reform process.
Here is a list of references of how deeply the ANC government has failed the majority of South Africans with land reform due to the endemic corruption:

“South Africa's failed land reform programme is a feeding frenzy of farmers, government officials and land claimants out to grab as much as they can for themselves, says the chairman of the Dundee Farmers' Association, Kenny Robinson. And the controversial Green Paper on land reform would never have seen the light of day if farmers had united to serve the greater good and demanded corrupt land officials be swiftly called to account.”
The ANC led government has squandered billions of rands earmarked for land reform in South Africa because of endemic corruption within the Department of Land Affairs, and now wants to amend section 25 of our country’s constitution to legitimize the theft of legally owned commercial farms in the name of ‘fairness and justice.’

“The current debate on expropriation of land without compensation was driven by the African National Congress seeking to secure more power for the corrupt and elite, than to help the people.”

“In a case in the Durban Commercial Crime Court, it has been shown how easily corrupt officials manipulate the land reform process, thereby stealing the government and the beneficiaries of their money and rights.
The verdict in the Kuick Vlei Settlement case comes amid ongoing debates surrounding the government’s failure to bring about effective land reform.”
It is refreshing to learn that our former Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, do not support the expropriation of land without compensation.

She blames the present ANC government for delaying to deliver on land restitution and redistribution.
Her submission to Parliament on Section 25 is that there is no need to change the constitution to fast track land restitution, because the options presented by section 25 of the constitution have not been exhausted.
There has been too much corruption by government itself dealing with land restitution and redistribution, which caused the delay with land restitution and redistribution.

My greatest concern is that the ANC-led government, in its determination to amend Section 25 of the Constitution, would create more opportunities for theft and corruption and that most of the expropriated farms, including commercial farms would be used to reward ANC cronies, families and friends, and all this would be done in the name of the ‘revolution’ or ‘struggle’, exactly as it occurred in Zimbabwe, with President Mugabe being rewarded with 17 farms for his ‘life long struggle’ against colonialism.
I wish to refer all the people to our petition at https://www.change.org/p/the-secretary-general-of-the-united-nations-end-farm-murders-in-south-africa to sign it. I want to raise at least 200,000 signatures before the end of 2018.
