Seattle Storm wins the 2018 WNBA Championship...And It's Just The Beginning!

September 12th, 2018: The Seattle Storm did a well done of the job after sweeping the Washington Mystics 3-0 in the best-of-five series to win their first championship since 2010 and third overall in franchise history.

The championship series win that we are officially to bring the NBA team back to Seattle. It will be not only much needed in our city, but it also benefits the entire region of the Pacific Northwest as well as eventually renewing the rivalry with the Portland Trailblazers.

So, while you are still celebrating, it's time to start sharing the petition on your social media accounts, while using the hashtags #NotInOurHouse #WeRepSeattle #ApproveSoDoArena and #BringTheNBABackToSeattle (or #BringTheSonicsBack).

Please ask, pressure, and convince the specific contacts of bruce.harrel@seattle.gov, Teresa.Mosqueda@seattle.gov, and Lorena.Gonzalez@seattle.gov and let them know that we're ready to have Chris Hansen's arena approved for the main sport of basketball in the SoDo District.
