We have received the following update in relation to the planning application for 600 new houses on Dullatur golf course……

`As you know the application is a significant departure from the development plan it requires to be considered by the Planning Hearings Committee and full council.

We had been working to the target of the full council meeting on the 3rd of October 2024, however the applicant put in a further planning statement (addendum three) which caused a delay as this required further assessment and input from our Policy and Strategy team.

We hope to finalise the report soon, which will then allow a Planning Hearings Committee/full council meeting to be arranged. The actual date for this is out of our hands and is subject to availability and number of other variables, but hopefully before the end of November.

Please keep a watch out on the NLC planning portal for further updates. Craigmarloch Community Council has, and will continue to oppose this planning application. We had put in a response to their addendum before the third one was submitted by the applicant.
