Dear Friends and Supporters

On 1st March we sent our Petition to the Scottish Government. On 23rd March the Scottish Government replied - predictably rejecting our request to discuss our Petition with Clare Haughey, Minister for Mental Health, with the usual excuses and (deliberate?) failure to read what was asked :

"It would not be appropriate for Ms Haughey to discuss the closure of your petition to the Scottish Parliament, as this is a matter solely for the members of the Public Petitions Committee....The Scottish Government's position remains the same. It would not be appropriate for Ms Haughey to meet with you. She is not able to discuss individual cases due to patient confidentiality." 

We have a long way to go to get the Scottish Government to listen and to take action to help Ruth and Tracey get their sons out of a hell hole. There is still much to do. We still need your help!
