Last week my community faced a trajic accident one that shook the whole community to its knees. Something we have never had to faced that has brought us closer together than ever before.  A accident that hit close to home since my kids were next on the stop. A parent should never have to face this . It makes me scared to even let my kids get on the bus without me there even though mine are 15 and 12. My 7 year old cousin and 10 year old cousin was hit by a 25 year old lady with no valid license while they was trying to cross the road to board the bus . There is no sense in a family losing a child to someone else's reckless and carless mistake. This tears my heart up so bad because of so many talks thaf  hewe have had withbour kids about the safety of being on a bus. We never know tnandriver will. The bus driver takea all tje caution in tje world to protect our kids. We never know what and driver is doing orngoing on. There could be somethingnweong with their car or be texting or talking on phone. There is so many questions or what ifs. But nobody never knowa.

We cant always blamebthe  of Micdriver lbut im most instances it is the drivers fault. Who can not see a big yellow bus with flashimg lights. Michael nd Amanda Wolfe lost their oldest son while their youngest still have a lost of recovering to do. People make mistakes but these buses carry our precious children. We.can not keep these things from happening but we as a community and the school district can make it easier.

It's not simple but a solution has ton ome oit of this. Make it where bus drop the kids of in front of house and not have to cross. Or how about putting paid monitors on each bus that gets off at each stop makes sure it's safe to cross and walk each kid across. Or how about putting extra stop signs on back of bus or each bus. And bus deivers came make it where kids get off bus and walk straight to their yard. When i was  coming up my bus driver could change route. I'm  sure as a community we can come together and find a solution. It want stop the accidents but hopefully slownthem down. Maybe we can do bus awareness month one month or run campaigns like the mother against drunk driving. you might say it will cost a lot of money but who can put a price on life . Not me and for should you. These parents and parents of the other kids who have died within the week in other states have to mourn something that all parents shouldn't have to face. They had to buried there children because of a careless act of a person. These children will not be able to grow up and love the life that God had planned for the. Brothers and sisters have to grieve thenloss of a loved one is. Please let's come together as a community school system and state and put a stop to this. It is senselss and needs to be stopped. Please sign this petition and help me and my daughter out and our comminty to be a safer place for our kids to board the bus and be safe. It's heart wrenching to know that my kids were the next one on the bus stop. All I can think about is what if it had been my kids. What would I have thought or feelings rushing through my head. I went home that night and held my kids tight .how about you wouldn't you rather wait 10 to 15 minutes for your child to take another route to make sure there safe.
