Thank you so much for signing the petition to stop suicide inquests from being open to the public. The response so far has been fantastic and we are near to 1000 signatures!

However we need more signatures before we can confidently go to the Chief Coroner and his colleagues to request that suicide inquests are made private. 

So many people have contacted me so far and showed their support and also shared their stories of the stress that public suicide inquests cause. Many people also didn't know that suicide inquests are public and were dismayed that such a practice occurred. 

To get more signatures we could really use your help once more! Please share this petition as widely as you can. We've had people share it on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and also emailing and texting to friends. Please use your social media profiles as this will help more people to see it and sign it.
