Hello everyone, thank you for continuing to follow the Justice for Chunky - Animal Abuse Register #AAR campaign. I just wanted to update you with what we have been up to over the last few weeks. On the 18th of November we met with a Welsh Assembly Member, Bethan Jenkins who is from the Plaid Cymru party in Wales. We presented our vision to Bethan and her colleague about how we see an animal abuse register working within Wales and the UK. This is a positive step; Bethan is working with us for a legislation based approach concerning animal welfare and the Animal Abuse Register. Everything is running smoothly and positive. We have also teamed up with an amazing activist Jenna Satterley who has a similar petition in Wales which has received similar signatures to this one. Jenna is keen to help us make the Animal Abuse Register a reality in the UK and is teaming up with us by attending meetings, presentations and more. We can’t thank her enough for all she has done to help us get in touch with the Welsh AM, Bethan. If you can help by donating £1 over this holiday season to our cause this will help towards travel, and helping us produce information packs, running our website, and more. We are also looking at trying to speak with the Senators in the state of Tennessee who set up the Animal Abuse Register to find out what problems and difficulties they had and how they overcame them. There is a lot being done in the background. As always half of the total donated will go to Chunky and towards his care for the future. We aim to send the money over to Chunky’s owners in the month of February unless we make the 10k goal sooner. As always, thank you for all of the support and love you have provided us. Without all of you we would not be where we are today so, thank you.
