Sadly, Kevin Vardy, who was such a strong campaigner for a national screening programme, will never see the results of his efforts but those who remain have not stopped our work towards more reliable testing.

The prostate cancer diagnostic test developed by Cambridge Oncometrix, to which Kevin gave his support, is now being evaluated in a multi-centre clinical study led by University College London with Prof. Mark Emberton as the head of the study.

This is the next, and most important step in making this test available on the NHS.

For a long time, our supporters have asked if they can invest in the Oncometrix diagnostic technology to speed up the test development and share in the success. Now you can. Cambridge Oncometrix will shortly be launching an equity crowdfunding campaign to support the clinical trial and the regulatory approval process for the test.
