Mise à jour sur la pétitionNational Prostate Cancer Screening for the UKPCUK's PSA Consensus - Update

In march I posted an update on the launch of Prostate Cancer UK's PSA Consensus. I recently received some feedback from PCUK saying that they have had almost 1000 submissions and that it is helping them build up a national picture of where things are going wrong (and sometimes right) but also mapping the areas of concern that people are having when they are looking for help from their GP.
PCUK have asked me to update you and to also post the initial information and link again to give those people a chance to submit their stories to help increase the information they have already gathered.
So below is the text of the update sent out in March and the link to the Consensus.
Thank you again for your help.
Regards
Kevin
While we strive to make a change with our campaign we also need to help men right now.
From the thousands of comments, supporters have provided, we know that a sizeable majority have had problems obtaining a PSA test from their GP. It is vital that men are given the opportunity to be informed about this dreadful disease as early as possible.
We know that early detection means men live longer.
It is unacceptable that some men are not getting the help and advice they need early enough.
Today, an updated Prostate Cancer Risk Management Programme (PCRMP) has been released, as well as new PSA testing consensus statements from Prostate Cancer UK which aim to provide further advice to GPs.
Prostate Cancer UK have also launched an online form to gather information from men who have had, or are having, problems obtaining a test.
With this information, they will be able to identify where and why these problems are arising and then help to address these issues on a local and national basis. The form will also highlight those areas where people have had a good experience with their GP.
So if you have had problems obtaining a PSA test or, indeed, you have had good support from your GP, please click on the 'PSA Survey' link below to complete Prostate Cancer UK’s form.
The information you provide is confidential. More information is provided on the form.
Kind regards
Kevin
