I feel I had been duped into joining Utility Warehouse Discount Club on the promise of reduced bills and improved services, neither of the above statements were true and my bills Sky Rocketed even though one of the services wasn't fit for purpose. I have finally managed to move all over my services away from this company however, all the lies and promises that I was 'SOLD' via their 'Self-Employed' agent boils down to hear-say.  The company hide behind their agents, as when I raised my grievance, they told me they would provide more training to him.

We were told that they would pay the severance fees to our old suppliers, they didn't do this which meant that it affected our credit profile which meant that they had tried to lock-us in to them via this underhand tactic.  Thankfully we were able to pay to escape them, but would like to take a stand to protect vulnerable families who might not be so fortunate.

This led me to doing some independent research and found that there are a lot of similar stories where people have been essentially milked as a 'cash-cow- by the company and have had similar grievances with their promises, services delivered, charges and demeanor of their 'Customer (Don't) Care' employees.

As I am intent on going to court, I am aware it is all too easy for a massive company like this to bully individual cases however, this petition is to learn if others out there would be interested in highlighting their experiences to a court in a joint civil action based on factual events so that something has to be done about the company and the way they seem in my case to treat their customers. The petition is also to force and investigation into the companies business practices requiring them not to be able to sell via incentivized 'self employed' agents who seem to flout consumer protection laws.
