The Restoration of Life

The Restoration of Life is the example of individuals who have spent decades pursuing higher education and personal reform outperforming the very system intended to change them as they show growth to becoming a mentor.  When an inmate has done the work of reform that the institution could not,  we are no longer 'PUNISHING' a criminal; we are paying a premium to warehouse a reformed citizen.  Prioritizing their release to family or community supervision is the only path that saves state money.  These individuals have committed themselves to their own growth and change.
