Thank you to each and every one of you who signed the petition. Obviously as these things do, our message quickly slipped away from the headlines but the outrage, across not just our nation but surprisingly across many parts of the world, remained no less deep-set and powerful. An anger that has been drip fed, year after year for the last 15 years, as the terrible legacy of this man stained almost every aspect of our lives.
Whether it was his changes to the House of Lords allowing it to be filled with political cronies and ill-deserved 'favours', or betraying a generation of our children leaving University with pointless degrees because 'everyone must get a degree'... whether it's witnessing the potential break-up of the UK through his disastrous devolution policy, or just simply watching the global legacy of his terrible foreign policy unfold which left the blood of countless, innocent lives soaking into the dust.
And, as released documents have recently proven, in his pursuit of personal 'achievement' he knowingly and deliberately ensured our military veterans did not receive the same legal amnesty that he gifted convicted terrorists, killers of women and children.... allowing murderers to walk free whilst even decades later, our veterans live in constant fear - not of terrorists - but of our OWN Governments & malicious lawyers who hunt them down thanks to Blair's legacy.
Everything this man touched, the lens of time has proven to be deeply toxic, damaging the very constitutional and cultural fabric of our nation. And yet, since leaving office we witness this "Champion of Socialism" and his family amass an enormous personal fortune as he globetrots, building relationships with regime leaders of questionable morals the world over. Mercilessly exploiting the position we, the people of the United Kingdom, elected him to in good faith, to amass this ill-deserved fortune.
His policies have touched most of our lives in some way and it is almost always negative.
And now, on 13th June, he will be awarded one of this nation's highest Honours by Her Majesty the Queen.
Do you believe he deserves this? Do you believe Anthony Charles Lynton Blair deserves to stand before our Sovereign and be honoured for all of this?
This ceremony, which will be publicised globally, dishonours our Monarchy, it dishonours centuries of our heritage, it dishonours our culture and it dishonours the proud image of our nation across the world.
On Monday, 13th June, a gathering of like-minded people is to be held in Windsor, where Tony Blair and the world's press can witness precisely what the people of this country think about this award. Where people can stand up and be seen by the world's press voicing their feelings and sending our message that we do not consent to this ill-deserved award.
You are invited to attend this gathering and your presence would be very much appreciated. It is a Monday and in Windsor, but if you are able to be there, you will find yourself alongside people from all walks of life, of every political persuasion, ordinary, decent people of this country, veterans of our Armed Forces - a crowd drawn from a huge cross section of the United Kingdom. For the power in our message is how it has united all segments of our society.
