Thank you for signing our petition to Protect Mataharehare and New Zealand's biggest urban Pōhutukawa.  

We are entering the 1 month milestone of the “peaceful protect” at Dove Myer Robinson Park, Mataharehare, the eastern headland of the Auckland CBD.

The Rāhui has been laid by the descendants of Tuperiri to stop the Ministry of Culture and Heritage bulldozing ½ square kilometre of this ancient Pā site and notable trees.

In Auckland over Easter?   It's The Community Easter Egg Hunt!   *FREE*

For Easter, we are inviting the community to come to Mataharehare – for the Community Easter Egg Hunt!  

Sunday 11am at “The Big Tree”, Dove Myer Robinson Park.  85 Gladstone Road, Parnell, Auckland.

Bring a picnic, blanket and stay for lunch.  It's high tide at 11am so bring your togs for a swim at Judges Bay!  All welcome.
