Dear fellow Australians

Whilst we have succeeded in our goal of removing Fraser Anning from parliament, one could say that the battle was won, but the war was lost.

In a shocking result, the Coalition were returned to government despite having no clear policy to transition to renewable energy, to manage our water, to protect our critical habitats or to manage air pollution.  And they support the opening of the Adani coal mine.  A mine which will emit carbon emissions totalling 0.5% of the entire global carbon budget, that being the total amount of carbon that can be emitted without exceeding 2 degrees of warming.

We cannot wait for a change in government to tackle this issue.  We must act now.

This is not a political issue.  We can all come together to solve the biggest issue our civilisation has ever faced.
