We Must Win

We are now 1,040 supporters strong and growing. Thanks to you all for giving support to our cause. It shows you care for the environment we live in, but we must win if we are going to be effective and we cannot win unless we get more supporters to voice there opinion. Keep spreading the word, keep sharing this post and continue to invite more people to sign our petition. The Government of Jamaica is not aware of the negative impact they are having on the environment by signing away our natural resources to greedy investors. For the second time in short order they have shown their ignorance to the destruction of the environment. In addition to issuing a license for sand mining in Duncan Bay, Trelawny they now wants to expand the boundaries for bauxite mining in the Cockpit Country, Trelawny. These people are out of there minds, they are so ignorant they will do anything in the so called name of development without taking into consideration the long term effects on the environment. The truth is, you can't be considerate about something you don't know about or respect and you don't seek advice from those who know and respect it. For this cause let us send a clear message to them to say "it is not OK to keep destroying our environment" because if you do, it is going to come back to haunt us all. We must continue to fight.
