The Prime Minister has written to the State Premiers asking for feedback on the proposed terms of reference for a Royal Commission into the bushfires. This is great news, it looks very likely we will get one.

I have no idea on the terms of reference yet, but from what the Deputy PM was saying it looks like climate change and fuel loads will be a part of it, which is terrific.

This is certainly not just because of our petition, but I certainly hope we've played a part in it. We're almost at 91,000 signatures - if you haven't shared it already could you please do so - I really want to get it up to 100,000 - we still have to keep pressure on - a RC is still not guaranteed yet.
