Petition updateJustice for Rhinos Hangs in the Balance – Help Save Skukuza Regional Court from ClosurePoachers take rhino battle from bush to courtroom

78 000 signatures and counting. The fight to save Skukuza Court continues.

Despite the swift action of Mpumalanga Judge President Legodi ordering Skukuza Regional Court to continue "business as usual" pending a full investigation, there are no cases left on the court roll. The Lowvelder gives an excellent update in the attached article.

There is a sinister, well strategised attack underway. Some aspects are subtle, others are blatant. A deadly mix of indifference, ineffectiveness, corruption and politics within different systems is quickly destroying years of anti-poaching progress in the Kruger National Park. Without direct, urgent government intervention and bold steps to counter this indirect approach by the syndicates all our State Reserve's rhino will be lost. Ranger lives and rhino lives lie at the heart of this battle and are more at risk now than ever before.

Each and every signature makes a difference. Please continue to share this petition with your networks. Rhinos and rangers need your voice now more than ever.
