Times of India writes about our initiative!

As I type out this promised update our petition already amassed 200 signatures & I am hoping the support base will continue to grow & grow faster. A big shot in the arm for this initiative came through the news article* published in Hyderabad Times edition of Times of India wherein the petition and the background to that was covered in extensive detail and aptly carried opinions of other citizen stakeholders on this burning issue of civic neglect in north-eastern residential areas nee greater-Secunderabad part of Hyderabad - a big shout-out of appreciation to Samyuktha (author of the news article) & Christina (Editor-Hyderabad Times) of TOI for being the oh-so-timely catalysts of change and such sensitized citizens of Hyderabad themselves! We haven't heard anything from the President's office till now but we'll keep working on it till we have some response. I am also starting to think about ways of sustaining the momentum this petition generated even after the president goes back to N. Delhi - Any, all ideas towards this are welcome! I thank each and every one of you for your support & request you to keep the embers burning for more such initiatives in short to longer term – We just can’t get back to being complacent about our own lousy existence anymore!
