For over 170 years, this historic pub has been a hub for the local community.
The Queens Head is one of Chelsea's oldest surviving pubs and possibly London's oldest gay pub. As well as serving the gay community it is also a haven for local workers, residents and shoppers - a safe, comfortable and friendly place where people from all walks of life can have a drink, a bite to eat and relax away from the hubbub of the King's Road.
For many years, the pub's staff and customers have also raised money for local and national charities and currently supports St Stephen's Volunteers AIDS charity, Help for Heroes and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Without this pub, this part of Chelsea would be missing a vital community asset and the area would lose its character to become yet another bland residential-only desert.
